of the USDA Procurement
Council. The Green
Purchasing Work Group
is responsible for
developing policy
proposals for increasing
the Department's purchases
of BioPreferred/biobased
products, environmentally
preferable products
(including those with
recycled content),
and electronic products
that enable Energy
Star features, and
other environmentally
sound management practices.
