SALEM —Oregon Department of Revenue representatives will be in Newport August 12-14 to answer taxpayers’ questions about personal income tax. They have scheduled appointments, but walk-in assistance also is available. “We look forward to helping taxpayers in the Newport area with their state income taxes,” said Revenue auditor David Armstrong. Representatives will be at Shilo Inn Suites Hotel, Pacific Room 1, 536 SW Elizabeth Street, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
