Department of Revenue Bend office extends hours beginning March 17
03/13/2008
BEND—If you have questions about Oregon’s income taxes, the Oregon Department of Revenue’s Bend office is extending its hours to serve you.

“The extra hours mean we can help a lot more taxpayers,” said Bend office manager Eric Smith. “This is part of our effort to provide the best possible customer service to Bend-area taxpayers.”

The Bend office, 951 SW Simpson Drive, Suite 100, across from the Mt. Bachelor park-and-ride lot, is open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, March 17 through April 15.

Revenue employees will answer questions about Oregon taxes and provide forms and publications.

Tax forms and publications also are available at area libraries, but library employees can’t answer tax-related questions.

Get Oregon income tax forms and instructions, and check the status of your refund, or call 1-800-356-4222 toll-free from an Oregon prefix, 503-378-4988 (Salem and outside Oregon). For TTY (hearing or speech impaired), call 1-800-886-7204.

Due to the large number of calls the customer service center receives this time of year, taxpayers may get a busy signal or experience extended waiting periods.
