Here is a list of King County Department of Transportation projects that may disrupt traffic and travel in the coming weeks:

August 27, 2007

Neal Road Southeast – The King County Road Services Division will close Neal Road Southeast between Fall City and Carnation for three weeks beginning Wednesday, Aug. 29. During the closure, a short bridge that spans a tributary of the Snoqualmie River near the north end of Neal Road will be replaced. Motorists can detour via State Route 203.

Southwest Quartermaster Road – Southwest Quartermaster Road on Vashon Island will be closed until Monday, Sept. 17 while crews repair the seawall that supports the roadway. The road will be closed between Monument Road Southwest and Portage Way Southwest. Motorists can detour via Dockton Road Southwest, Southwest Ellisport Road, Southwest 204th Street and Vashon Highway Southwest.

David Powell Road – Southeast David Powell Road near Fall City will be closed through Tuesday, Sept. 11 in the 34100 block while crews replace an underground culvert. Flaggers and temporary signals will allow traffic through in one direction at a time.

276th Avenue Southeast – In Hobart, the closure of 276th Avenue Southeast has been extended through Monday, Sept. 10. The road is closed between Southeast 197th Street and Southeast 200th Street for a culvert replacement. Motorists can detour via Southeast 216th Street, 244th Avenue Southeast and SR 18.

North Fork Road Southeast – Wagners Bridge, which carries North Fork Road Southeast over the North Fork of the Snoqualmie River about 10 miles northeast of North Bend, will be closed for construction through November. The road is a popular access point to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness for hikers and recreationalists. While the bridge is closed, motorists can purchase a vehicle access permit into the backcountry, or access the Alpine Lakes area on Forest Service roads from the north and east.

Weather-related road closures can be found online.
