Here is a list of King County Department of Transportation projects that may disrupt traffic and travel in the coming weeks:

January 7, 2008

North Fork Road Southeast - Wagners Bridge, which carries North Fork Road Southeast over the North Fork of the Snoqualmie River about 10 miles northeast of North Bend, is closed for construction. The road is a popular access point to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness for hikers and recreationalists. While the bridge is closed, motorists can purchase a vehicle access permit into the backcountry, or access the Alpine Lakes area on Forest Service roads from the north and east.

Tolt Bridge – The Tolt Bridge on Tolt Hill Road west of Carnation will be closed Monday, Jan. 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a routine under-bridge inspection. Motorists can detour via State Route 202 and State Route 203.

South Park Bridge – The South Park Bridge spanning the Duwamish River on 14th/16th Avenue South will be closed Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 19 and 20 for sidewalk repairs from 7 a.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday. Motorists are advised to use the First Avenue South Bridge as a detour.

Weather-related road closures can be found online.
