The State noxious weed list is the official list for the State of Oregon. Maintained by the OSWB and Noxious Weed Control Program, the weed list is part of the noxious weed policy and classification system. The State noxious weed list is used to prioritize activities at the state level and provide direction for development of county weed lists, local control programs and guide the use of limited resources.

The state noxious weed quarantine is established under administrative rule (OAR 603-052-1200).This rule prohibits import, transport, propagation or sale of select "A" and "B" State listed noxious weeds and plants on the Federal Noxious Weed List (7 C.F.R. 360.200).
