INTRODUCTION

The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) officers at U.S. Embassies in Madrid and Lisbon represent U.S. agricultural interests in Spain and Portugal. Our primary objective is to assist U.S. agricultural, fisheries, and forestry product exporters interested in exporting to the Iberian Peninsula market. We analyze market access conditions, supply and demand trends, and potential market opportunities for U.S. exporters. We also assist Iberian Peninsula importers in their efforts to locate reliable U.S. agricultural products exporters.
