Executive Fire Officer Graduate Symposium Web Cast

On Saturday March 29, 2008, between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm EDT, the National Fire Academy will broadcast three Executive Fire Officer (EFO) Graduate Symposium presentations over the Internet. The live presentations will be available for viewing and participation at www.openfireacademy.org.

Presentations include:

Politics, Policy, and Practice: What the Fire Service Needs to Know and Do with Hal Bruno, ABC News (Ret); Chief Denis Rubin, District of Columbia Fire/EMS; Reporter Dave Statter, WUSA News; and Dr. Burton A. Clark, Management Science Chair, National Fire Academy.

LODD Reduction: Where Do We Go from Here? with Dr. Denis Onieal, Superintendent of the National Fire Academy.

Fire Ground Survival with Captain Derek Alkonis, Los Angeles County Fire Department and Tim Merina, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.

  4. Your account has been created! Congratulations! Go to efo.openfireacademy.org again and login. You will be taken to the course.
