Overview:
This two-day seminar covers the statutory and regulatory requirements of the Army's management control process. It includes the underlying Army philosophy on management controls, the major elements of the Army's process and the basic responsibilities of key players in that process. It is intended to provide Army control administrators and managers with guidance to carry out their roles and responsibilities.

Practice is provided in conducting a management control evaluation that includes analysis of risk.

This course is appropriate for Army and National Guard Management Control Administrators and Assessable Unit Managers.

  • Provide management control administrators and assessable unit managers with guidance to carry out their roles and responsibilities under Army's management control process
  • Provide detailed guidance for developing a Management Control Plan, conducting effective management control evaluations, identifying and documenting material weaknesses, establishing corrective action plans, and preparing annual statements of assurance
