Overview:
This course presents the writing tools you need to produce professional audit documents that comply with generally accepted government auditing standards. You learn to develop strong messages in response to audit objectives, support those messages with compelling evidence and develop the appropriate elements of a finding, and organize your writing to eliminate unnecessary information. You also learn to write in a professional and correct style. The course includes the instructor's written evaluation of a sample of each participant's writing and a 25-minute conference with the instructor before or after class. Enrollment is limited to 15 participants to ensure individual attention.
Who Should Attend?
New auditors and junior-level auditors who want basic guidance on writing performance audit reports. Level: Foundation.
