SUBJECT:	Application for the Master of Arts Degree in Homeland Defense and Security is Now Available Online

The Office for Domestic Preparedness (ODP) is pleased to announce that the application for admission to the Master of Arts Degree in Homeland Defense and Security is now available online at the Homeland Security Leadership Development website at www.hsld.org.

The Master of Arts Degree in Homeland Security is sponsored by the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) and ODP. This degree program is designed to improve the capacity of federal, state and local jurisdictions to plan and execute security measures, which insure the Nation’s capacity to prevent, deter, defeat, and respond to terrorism. The program will provide future homeland security leaders with the specialized skills and knowledge needed to meet the challenges of homeland defense and security.

Only federal employees, and government employees of states and localities are eligible for this program. If you are interested in applying for admission to this master of arts degree program, please visit the Homeland Security Leadership Development website at www.hsld.org.
