Significant Events: Continued downsizing and demobilizing excess resources. Continued to backhaul some supplies and equipment. Patrolled fire edge in Div. A, Div. B and Div. C by air. Monitored fire behavior, fire growth and implemented checking actions as warranted to protect private structures and maintain fire within the MMA. Continued to staff road guards to maintain the area closure and ensure public safety. Conducted public meeting at the Methodist camp

Remarks: Demobiliation of resources will continue. South Barker WFU acres: Sawtooth NF acres = 31442, Boise NF acres = 3130. Approximately 31% of the MMA has been visited by the South Barker Fire. The Fire Use Management Team is also managing the Old Sam, Johnson Creek, Johnson II, and Two Point WFUs. Any information updates for these four WFUs will be shown in the South Barker 209s.

Observed Fire Behavior: Fire activity today included creeping and individual and group tree torching in timber in upper Willow Creek, upper Weeks Gulch, Burnt Log Creek, and Big Water Creek. No appreciable growth was observed.

Planned Actions: Continue the demobilization of excess resources. Patrol fire edge in Div. A, Div. B, Div. C. and Div. D. by air. Continue the rehabilitation of management actions. Monitor fire behavior, fire growth and implement checking actions as warranted to protect private structures and maintain fire within the MMA. Maintain structure protection readiness. Evaluate burn severity. Continue to staff road guards to maintain the area closure and ensure public safety.
