Valley team sees research ahead for Idaho wind farm

Bob Lewandowski was the first person to build a wind farm in Idaho but soon after he passed away in July 2005 his wind turbines stopped spinning. A group of men formed a company called G3 and got the turbines running again. Besides operating the wind farm and selling the energy to Idaho Power, G3 wants to build a learning center on the wind farm and open it to engineering students and wind energy companies, possibly as a test site.
