Fires in Northwest Australia

The Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), flying aboard NASA's Terra satellite, observed more than a dozen wildfires (red pixels) burning in Northern Australia. This true-color scene was acquired on April 2, 2002.
