3-month supply. You may order a three-month supply of medicine by mail. In a local pharmacy, you are limited to a one-month supply for most drugs.

Q. Who should use home-delivery services?

A. OHP fee-for-service (open card) clients who take the same prescription drugs month after month for ongoing health conditions will benefit the most from home-delivery services.

Home delivery isn’t for everyone. You may prefer to talk to a pharmacist in person about new medications. If you need the medicine right away, you should visit a local pharmacy. It takes up to 10 days for your prescriptions to be delivered by mail. If you and your doctor are trying out different drugs, you should wait until you find the ones you will take long-term before you use home-delivery.

Q. Can I order mental health drugs this way?

A. Sometimes. You can order certain mental health drugs for home-delivery if you take the same medications month after month. Some clients in managed care take mental health drugs that are not provided by the managed care plan. These clients can use home-delivery, but only for the mental health drugs that the plan does not provide. Ask your health plan if you can use Wellpartner services for your prescriptions.

Q. What about Medicare Part D drugs?

Ask your Medicare Drug Plan if they contract with Wellpartner or another home-delivery pharmacy. OHP pays for some drugs Medicare won't cover. You may order most of your OHP drugs through Wellpartner.
