The Office of Community Liaison
The Office of Community Liaison provides local health departments technical assistance to implement their public health improvement plans and provides health care services consultation to administrators and managers of local health departments.

This Office serves as liaison between state public health services program staff and local health departments and interprets local health department issues to state program staff, schools of nursing and other agencies. This includes planning, coordinating, and preparing public health services' review of local health department services. Finally, this office conducts the administrative, medical records, and civil rights components of the agency review process.
