IMPORTANT NOTICE on IRF-PAI System Maintenance

The scheduled maintenance downtime for the National Assessment Collection Database will be changed. Currently the scheduled downtime occurs on the third Tuesday of each month from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Central Daylight Time. Beginning on November 17, 2002, the IRF-PAI system may instead be down for maintenance during the day on the third Sunday of every month. If you are unable to connect to the National Assessment Collection Database on the third Sunday of each month, please try again on Monday.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LOG-IN TO TRANSMIT DATA DURING THE DOWNTIME. PLEASE ADJUST YOUR FACILITY'S TRANSMISSION SCHEDULE ACCORDINGLY. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL THE IFMC HOTLINE AT 1-800-339-9313.

IMPORTANT NOTICE on IRF-PAI Data Transmission

Before the IRF-PAI data can be transmitted to the CMS national assessment collection database, an IRF must be assigned a login and password for accessing the Medicare data communication network (MDCN) and a login and password for accessing the national assessment collection database. If you have questions regarding the assignment of logins and passwords, accessing the MDCN or about the submission process, please contact the quality improvement and evaluation system (QIES) technical support office (QTSO) help desk at (800) 339-9313.
