Programs
The Advisory Committee on Physician Credentialing Information (ACPCI) met October 29, 2007 per House Bill 2144 (1999) (pdf) to review the Oregon Practitioner Credentialing Application and the Oregon Practitioner Recredentialing Application, dated September 28, 2004.  Upon review of the applications, it was found that no changes were necessary in order to comply with national and federal credentialing standards, as well as state mandates and standards.

For the most recent version, the ACPCI requested the Administrator of Oregon Health Policy & Research (OHPR) to notify the Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) and the Department of Human Services (DHS), Public Health, of the recommended updates/changes made to the 2003 applications and to begin proceedings to adopt rules to carry out the efficient implementation and enforcement of the ACPCI's recommendations, pursuant to Oregon Statutes 443.800-442.807 (1999) (pdf).

DCBS and DHS submitted the ACPCI's recommendations to the rulemaking process. They filed for amended rules that incorporated the changes/updates to both applications.  A certificate and order was filed with the Secretary of State.  The DCBS amended rule, OAR 836-052-0700 (pdf), was adopted February 24, 2005.  It was filed on and became effective March 1, 2005.  The  DHS  amended rule, OAR 333-505-0007 (pdf), was adopted February 4, 2005.  It was filed on and became effective February 4, 2005.
