Brief Description:
NINDS is now inviting competing continuation applications from those existing grantees with 3-year K08 MCSDA awards. Eligible
grantees are invited to submit proposals describing the research and career development plans to be continued in their parent
grant. The continuation phase is intended to provide up to two years (years 4 and 5) of funding for grantees to enable
them to more successfully complete the research proposed in their original grant application, and to bolster competitiveness
for independent funding during the performance period of the K08 award. The NINDS will accept competitive continuation
applications according to the receipt schedule outlined below.
