Minimum Wage Increases to $7.75 an Hour Effective July 1
Legislation in 2006 boosted Illinois' minimum wage to $7.50 an hour with an additional 25 cents in each of the following three years to $7.75 on July 1, 2008; $8.00 on July 1, 2009; and $8.25 on July 1, 2010.
