CS Tourism Road Show to Shenyang & Dalian

China's outbound tourism market will reach 100 million visitors by 2020. Much of the growth will come for the emerging urban center outside of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. In order to tap into these markets, CS Beijing is organizing a tourism road show to Shenyang and Dalian, China June 25- 26, 2007 in order to expand U.S. tourism interests’ reach into these growing markets. The U.S. delegation will be led by Caroline Katzin, Secretary of Commerce Special Advisor to China . This is an excellent opportunity for U.S. Convention and Visitors Bureaus, State Tourism Department Agencies, Airlines, Car Rental Companies, Hotels, Tour operators and other tourism suppliers to develop relationship with local tourism authorities, identify potential partners and explore market opportunities in the outbound travel and tourism market in Shenyang and Dalian.

The road show includes: visa and industry briefings by the U.S. Consulate General in Shanyang, a tourism seminar in Dalian and Shenyang where mission members can promote their destination or services, and meet executives from local tourism government authorities, major tour operators, MICE intermediaries and major tour media, and a VIP dinner with key local government officials.
