Veterans Day F-15 Flyover Schedule
 
PORTLAND, Ore. - The Oregon Air National Guard will salute America's veterans with flyovers at locations throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington. A pair of F-15 Eagle jet fighters from the 142nd Fighter Wing in Portland will fly over community celebrations at the following times and locations:

Saturday, November 10
10:40 Gresham - Parade
10:50 Vancouver WA - Parade
11:00 Woodland WA - Ceremony
 
Sunday, November 11
10:30 Scappoose - Parade
10:45 Hood River - Ceremony
11:00 Hillsboro Firlawn Cemetery - Ceremony
11:11 University of Portland - Ceremony
11:13 Hollywood District - Parade
 
A two-ship formation of F-15's from the 173rd Fighter Wing in Klamath Falls will fly over Southern Oregon communities at the following times:
 
Sunday, November 11
1:00 Bend - Parade
1:30 Medford - Parade
2:00 Klamath Falls - Parade
 
All passes will be approximately 1,500 feet above ground level and 350 knots airspeed. Flights could be cancelled due to inclement weather or operational contingencies.
 
The Oregon Air National Guard has been an integral part of the nation's air defense since 1941. The 142nd Fighter Wing maintains continuous alert with F-15's stationed in Portland as part of the Western Air Defense System. The 173rd Fighter Wing at Kingsley Field near Klamath Falls provides air- to- air combat training to new F-15 pilots. For more information please visit our web site www.orport.ang.af.mil
