The Oklahoma legislature meets annually between February and May. During the session, the governor must sign or veto legislation within five days after transmittal (except Sundays) or it becomes law without signature. If transmittal occurs with less than five days left in the session, the governor must act within 15 days of the date of session adjournment or the legislation is vetoed.
