Update: Press availability after BRAC Commission announcement on PANG
Senator Ron Wyden, Congresswoman Darlene Hooley, and Major General Raymond F. Rees, Adjutant General of the Oregon National Guard, will attend a press availability at the Portland Air National Guard Base Aug. 26 at 4:30 p.m.
The press availability is scheduled in anticipation of a vote by the Base Realignment and Closure Commission on the realignment of the 142nd Fighter Wing at PANG Base. It will take place at the main gate of PANG Base.
Media should report to the gate no later than 4 p.m. to ensure access to the press conference. Call the 142nd FW Public Affairs office at 503-335-4104 to provide notice of your intent to cover the press conference and identify any special needs (e.g. access for satellite trucks/live broadcasts).
