MEDIA ADVISORY - Oregon Army Guard's 41st Brigade Combat Team training in Boise, Idaho
 
Oregon National Guard's 41st BCT training in Boise
 
GOWEN FIELD, Boise, ID - The 41st Brigade Combat Team, Tigard Oregon, begins their annual training Saturday June 11, 2005 and it will last through June 25, 2005. Units from Idaho, Arizona, Utah, Oklahoma, and Washington will be supporting this exercise.
 
The 41st BCT is also sponsoring foreign troop exchange. Troops from Germany, Austria, and the UK are participating.
 
Large convoys will be moving through western Idaho moving to Gowen Field and the Orchard Training Area on Saturday and Sunday, this weekend.
 
The 115th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment will be supporting the 41st BCT, and will be the point of contact for this operation for all news organizations.
 
We invite the all the media organizations to coordinate through the 115th to visit our training, interview soldiers, and embed people into our training.
 
The build up phase is in process now. The best dates to film training and speak with the soldiers will be June 14-21.

Base phones will become active on Saturday June 11, 2005. The MPAD numbers are not available at the time of this advisory. An Advisory will be sent upon confirmation of the numbers. Anyone from the 115th can assist you with any inquiries.
