Formal Demobilization Ceremony for 2nd Battalion, 162 Infantry set
 
The official demobilization ceremony honoring the soldiers of the 2nd Battalion, 162 Infantry of the Oregon Army National Guard will be held on March 31, 2005 at 4:30 p.m. at the new Pavilion at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem, Ore.
 
Governor Ted Kulongoski, U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, U.S. Representative Peter DeFazio will join Brig. Gen. Raymond C. Byrne Jr. (Acting Adjutant General) and Brig. Gen. Douglas Pritt, Commander 41st Infantry Brigade to welcome these soldiers home after a successful deployment into Iraq.
 
Family, friends and supporters are encouraged to attend the ceremony. The new Pavilion will have VIP Parking, Media areas, Handicapped Parking and ground guides on site.
