North Dakota Incentives and Laws

Last Updated May 2007

The North Dakota legislature meets in odd-numbered years beginning in early January for 80 days. During the session, the governor must sign or veto legislation within three days after transmittal (except Saturdays and Sundays) or the legislation becomes law without signature. If legislation is transmitted to the governor with less than three days remaining in the session (except Saturdays and Sundays), the governor must act within 15 days after transmission (except Saturdays and Sundays) or the legislation becomes law without signature.

North Dakota is the home of the Red River Valley/Winnipeg Manitoba Clean Cities Coalition ( www.cleanairchoice.org/cities/rrv.cfm). Coordinator contact information is listed in the Points of Contact section.
