King County Development Conditions

Note: On July 28, 1997 the Metropolitan King County Council adopted Ordinances 12822, 12823, and 12824. The Executive signed these ordinances, and full implementation occurred August 1997. This represents the completion of the Phase II zoning conversion effort and brings all property-specific development standards (also known as P-suffixes) in line with current state and county regulations.

A Web site interface has been created which allows users to search for both pre-conversion and post-conversion development condition information.

There is a help page which describes P-suffix conditions and also explains how to use the search engine. You may also send comments and specific questions to DDES staff, using the comment link that can be found at the bottom of our pages.

IMPORTANT NOTE!
Please be aware that a search at this site will list only those area-specific regulations which are associated with the P-suffix conversion. Other area-specific regulations may apply to a parcel which are not part of this system. For further information about other types of area-specific regulations which might apply to your property, please contact DDES customer service at 206-296-6600.

Thank you for your interest.
