Fourteen Companies in Beijing will Invest $2.6 Billion In Large Construction Projects
According to the Beijing Times on April 22, 2008, fourteen companies signed an investment agreement with the Beijing Municipal Industry Promotion Administration. Guo Jinlong, Mayor of Beijing, Mao Yu, Vice Minister of the State Industry and Information were presented at the signing ceremony. The total investment is $2.6 Billion (18.4 billion RMB) and the projects focus on bio-pharmacy and manufacturing sectors. Most of these projects will be located in Beijing development zones. Through this brief alert, Commercial Service Beijing seeks to inform qualified U.S. firms active in China,to support US participation in these projects.
