The purpose of this Notice is to add the following additional application requirement to Section IV. 2, Content and Form of Application Submission, SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

• A one-page description of the applicant’s single most significant research accomplishment. (Publications or other documents will not be accepted.) This document is uploaded on the Research & Related Other Project Information Component, Item 11, Other Attachments.

The description of the most significant research accomplishment must be submitted in addition to the other documents listed in this Section IV.2. – the abstract, essay, biographical sketch, and list of current and pending research support. Please carefully review the requirements for submission in this and in other sections of the RFA. A list of Frequently Asked Questions is at http://nihroadmap.nih.gov/pioneer/faq.aspx.
