This Notice announces the participation of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) in PA-08-107, PA-08-108, and PA-08-109, “Prevention Research with HIV Positive Individuals.”

The following Institutes continue to participate in PA-08-107, PA-08-108, and PA-08-109. All other aspects of these FOAs remain unchanged.

NIDA will support applications that address secondary prevention among HIV seropositive drug using populations, including injection and non-injection drug users, as well as providers and settings that offer health care, drug treatment or public health services to HIV seropositive drug using populations. NIDA encourages applications regarding secondary prevention interventions, as well as descriptive research which can inform secondary prevention intervention.
