Gulf Coast Regional FTF - Jackson, MS -
Investigators from the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and
the Technical Operations Group (TOG)
arrested Ronald Shearon in Jackson, Mississippi. Shearon was wanted by the
Louisiana State Police for manslaughter and hit and run. On 2/21/08, Shearon
is alleged to have been the driver of truck that struck a pedestrian in
Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After the collision, Shearon pulled the truck to the
side of the road, leaving the victim in the bed of the truck, and fled the
scene on foot. The victim died as a result of her injuries. Middle Louisiana
Fugitive Task Force investigators requested the assistance from the GCRFTF
who, with critical assistance from TOG, located and arrested Shearon.
Shearon has several previous arrests for battery on police and resisting
arrest. |
