The United States Marshals Service
First State Fugitive Task Force is comprised of members of the
Marshals Service, Delaware State Police, Delaware State Probation
and Parole, New Castle County and Wilmington Police Departments. The
state and local officers were sworn in as special deputy U.S.
Marshals in order to provide them with broader jurisdictional
authority. This is a valuable tool for law enforcement in Delaware
because of the ability of a fugitive to flee the state in a short
period of time. |
