    Both Fugitives are Charged with Murder of Police Officers Bryant and Barker

The United States Marshals Service and the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force assisted the DeKalb County Sheriffs Office in the search for William Maurice Woodard, who has been charged in the murders of Officers Ricky Bryant, Jr. and Eric Barker. 

Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the DeKalb County Police arrested William Woodard and Mario O'Brian Westbrook in Georgia on Friday January 18, 2008.

William Maurice Woodard, 26, who also goes by the name "Bo C," was taken into custody during a traffic stop in Decatur, Georgia.  Mario O'Brian Westbrook, 31, was arrested, with no injuries, at an Atlanta residence.

Police already had arrested two other suspects, 32-year-old Herbie DeShawn Durham and 28-year-old Deanthius Jamal Johnson in the killings that took place early Wednesday morning.  The officers were shot and killed in an apparent ambush at an apartment complex.
