U.S. Marshals Service Arrests Sex Offender Robert St. Dennis
Waco,
TX - On October 10, 2007, Fugitive Sex Offender Robert St.
Dennis was arrested in
Wishram, WA by Deputy Marshals from the E/WA. St. Dennis was wanted by the
Copperas Cove, TX Police Dept. for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender in
Texas and by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force for a violation of 18 USC
2250(a). In July 2007, the Copperas Cove Police Dept. received an emergency
request from the Texas Dept. of Health and Human Services-Child Protective
Services Division-to immediately investigate allegations regarding a minor child
who was possibly sexually assaulted by St. Dennis in Copperas Cove, TX.
Upon beginning the investigation, it was learned the alleged predator was
St. Dennis. He immediately fled Texas and traveled back to his home state of
Washington where he had previously been convicted of a sex crime against a
minor. Within days of beginning the fugitive investigation, it was learned
St. Dennis was living with a single mother and her child in E/WA.
St. Dennis was
arrested at the residence and a search warrant was prepared to obtain his
computer and other media devices. |
