AUSTIN BOOKSTORE FONDLER ARRESTED IN MASSACHUSETTS

Lone Star Fugitive Task Force LogoAUSTIN – Seth Hilliker, 35 of Austin was arrested at 2 p.m. this afternoon in North Hampton, MA by the United States Marshals Service and North Hampton Police. Hilliker was sought pursuant to allegations that Hilliker tried to touch a 4-year –old girl inappropriately at a Half-Price Books in South Austin on June 5.

The United States Marshals Service and the Austin Police Department’s Intelligence Unit developed information this morning that Hilliker had fled the Austin area and was currently residing with a female in North Hampton, MA. The U.S. Marshals Service and North Hampton Police acted upon the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force’s request to expedite location and apprehension efforts resulting in Hilliker’s quick arrest in the 100 block of Jackson St.

Hilliker will remain in North Hampton, MA pending extradition to Austin.

LaFayette Collins, United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas said, “This case is a prime example of why we are dedicated to the apprehension of sexual predators. The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force will not stop pursuing a fugitive until justice has been served.”

Members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in Austin are the Austin Police Department – Intelligence Unit, Travis County Sheriff’s Department, Williamson County Sheriff’s Department, Texas Rangers, and the U.S. Marshals Service.
