Federal Fugitive Abducts Daughter Before
Fleeing
On June 6, 2006, a
federal warrant was issued for Rickey Evans charging him with
Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance. On June
17, 2006, Evans picked up his daughter, Rickel Fitch, for a three
week custodial visit. Evans never returned Rickel Fitch to her
mother, Erika Fitch. Erika Fitch missed her daughter’s fourth
birthday, as well as spending Christmas and Easter with Rickel.
Erika Fitch worries she will miss more holidays and milestones in
Rickel’s life, but above all Erika is concerned for her daughter’s
safety and well being.
Erika Fitch recently contacted The National Center for Missing and
Exploited Children (NCMEC) about her missing daughter, Rickel Fitch.
NCMEC posted Rickel Fitch’s picture and information on their website
on Thursday, May 3, 2007. NCMEC also designed a poster regarding
Rickel Fitch. A copy of this “Family Abduction”
Poster is attached to this release along with an
additional photo of RIckel Fitch.
