James DeltoroEast Metro Fugitive Task Force (EMFTF) members arrested James Deltoro on Thursday May 3rd, 2007 in Owatonna, MN. Deltoro is the suspect in the Capital Murder of a child under six in Lancaster, TX (Dallas County).

According to reports, on 01/18/2007 Deltoro was baby sitting his girlfriend’s four year old son when he called and stated the child had fallen down the stairs and was not breathing. Six days after the child was admitted to the hospital, he died of his injuries. Doctors believed the injuries were caused by significant trauma, on the scale of a major motor vehicle accident. Deputies in Dallas developed information that Deltoro had fled to Minnesota. Members of the EMFTF tracked down Deltoro in Owatonna. Deltoro was arrested without incident and is awaiting extradition to Dallas County.
