Arrest of Emmett Taylor

The United States Marshals Service has arrested a Millsboro, DE man who was wanted for murder. Emmett Taylor, 44 of 35566 North Gloucester Circle, in Long Neck, Delaware was wanted by Delaware State Police for one count of murder in the first degree.

Deputy Marshals received information Taylor fled Delaware and was in the Washington DC area. Marshals in Delaware contacted the Marshals from the Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force to try and apprehend Taylor. At approximately 1:30 p.m. on today’s date, Taylor was arrested without incident in an apartment at 1905 M Street NE, Washington, DC.

Taylor is being held in Washington pending extradition to Delaware.
