Arrest of George
Foster
The U.S. Marshals First
State Fugitive Task Force arrested George Foster, 31 years old, at
approximately 12:00 noon on July 19, 2007. Foster was wanted for
Failure to Appear for Sentencing from the Newport News Circuit
Court, Newport News, Virginia. On November 9, 2005, Foster had
appeared for his scheduled sentencing in Newport News Circuit Court,

years incarceration.
Earlier this month, First State Fugitive Task Force Members received
information from the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive
Task Force in Norfolk, Virginia that Foster may be in the
Wilmington, Delaware area. After a brief investigation and
surveillance, Foster was observed exiting a residence located at 215
West 6th Street, Wilmington by Task Force Officers from the U.S.
Marshals Service and New Castle County Police Department. He was
arrested without incident in the 200 block of West 6th Street.
Foster was immediately transported to the New Castle County Police
