Jail Statistics

The number of people admitted to jail (Admissions/Bookings), the number of people released from jail (Releases), Average Daily Population (ADP), and Average Length of Stay (ALOS) are all ways of looking at how busy the jail is.

The following tables and charts show the key statistics that the Department tracks:

Average Daily Population (ADP): Average number of inmates who are confined in the King County Correctional Facility or Regional Justice Center, or partially confined in Work Education Release or Electronic Home Detention per day during the year.
