The Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) is committed to strengthening and advancing Colorado's agriculture industry, ensuring a safe, high quality, and sustainable food supply, and protecting consumers, the environment, and natural resources.
Under the direction of the Commissioner of Agriculture, approximately 275 employees provide over 300 different regulatory, inspection, marketing, consumer protection and other services across the state for less than .2% of the state's budget.
