Workshops

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) held two commercial buildings Performance Metrics Workshops to discuss building performance metrics and procedures for measuring those metrics. Twenty-two experts in building energy performance, environmental issues, worker productivity, psychological aspects of the built environment, and building economics attended the workshops. Those attending the workshop represented both private- and public-sector entities in the United States and Canada.
