WEST GLACIER, MONT. – Officials at Glacier National Park report that the Going-to-the-Sun Road has been temporarily closed from Big Bend to Logan Pass due to heavy snow. Officials will reopen this section as soon as conditions permit.

Visitors are reminded that a short 2.5 mile segment of the Going-to-the-Sun Road is also closed to traffic between Siyeh Bend and Logan Pass for road construction. Visitors can still travel 28 miles from West Glacier to Big Bend and 15.5 miles from St. Mary to Siyeh Bend.
