Glacier National Park
Volunteer Information

Glacier National Park is served by hundreds of volunteers during our summer season. Volunteers who work a minimum of 32 hours per week may be provided government housing at no cost to the volunteer (utilities except telephone are included). A limited number of volunteers may receive reimbursement for some of their out-of-pocket expenses. You may find a volunteer application at www.nps.gov/archive/tapr/volunteerapp1.htm. Please complete it and send it to the following address: Glacier National Park , ATTN: Human Resources, PO Box 128, West Glacier, Montana 59936.

Once we receive your application it will be maintained in our office for supervisors to review as the need occurs.

You may also apply to the Student Conservation Association (SCA). They have a Resource Assistant Program that places individuals in land management agencies, including the National Park Service. More information may be obtained at their website: www.sca-inc.org .

Should you have any further questions, please contact our Human Resources Office at:

Snow can fall at any time of the year in Glacier
