Additional Educational Trunks for Teachers in NW Montana

Glacier National Park is just one of several agencies and non-profit organizations that have educational trunks available. Wondering what else is out there?  Click here for a PDF printable list of additional trunks that are available to classroom teachers and home schoolers in NW Montana.

Suggested grades listed for each trunk are those that work particularly well. But creative teachers can successfully adapt every trunk to be used in any classroom. Most trunks are free of charge and can be checked out for one or two week periods. Contact each agency for more information about their trunk contents and check-out procedures. Happy learning!

If you know of another good trunk that’s out there, but not listed here, e-mail us to let us all know.

U-shaped valley carved by a glacier

Did You Know?
Glacier National park was named for the glaciers that carved, sculpted, and formed this landscape millions of years ago. Despite the recession of current glaciers, the park's name will not change when the glaciers are gone.
