Training Program

The Information Technology Division has partnered with New Horizons Computer Learning Centers to deliver comprehensive computer training in Applications, Technical Networking and Graphic Arts to BNL employees and guests.  Students will be able to choose from a selection of technical classes, certification packages, and a wide variety of desktop applications classes. 

Classes are held at the New Horizons training facility located in Commack. Anyone attending a desktop application class will  receive sixty days of 24/7 helpdesk support, course repeat privileges and six months of Online Anytime Learning Supplement (a web-based learning program) for the class taken, for no additional charge. Students completing a technical training course will receive course repeat privileges, and the Online Anytime Learning Supplement, at no additional charge.

The training fee for classes at the New Horizon Commack facility is:

  • Desktop Applications: $161 per day
  • Technical Classes:     $327 per day

Please Note: a rescheduling fee will be charged if you fail to attend a class for which you hold a registration and you do not provide adequate notice. Rescheduling an Application Class with less than 3 business days notice will result in being charged for the course with the ability to take the course at a later date at no additional cost.
