Portland General Electric Files 2008 Rate Case UE-197
 
Portland General Electric (PGE) is asking the Commission to raise its rates by nearly 9% starting in January 2009. The request would increase annual revenues by $146 million.
 
Commission staff and customer groups will work through the details of the filing the remainder of this year. The Commission will schedule Open House events in the near future to receive comment from customers. An Administrative Law Judge will forward a recommendation to the Commission to consider. The Commission can accept, reject or modify the recommendation.
