A little over a year from now, February 17 2009, television stations across the country will start broadcasting using only so-called “digital” technology. This means that stations will stop free over-the-air analog broadcasts. If you have satellite or cable TV service you probably will not be affected. But if you have an older analog TV set attached to a regular antenna—it will no longer work. Coupons are now available to reduce the cost of a digital converter box.
