Navigating the DHS Web site

DHS has adopted the most recent statewide Web site design. Pages and content have not been moved. If you have "Favorites" or "Bookmarks," they will still work just fine.

The new design includes a larger default text size and gives visitors the ability to increase or decrease text size on a page. There also is more flexibility with content and links in the center of the page (popularity boxes). In addition to the menu on the left side, there also is a menu on the right side of the homepage and on each topic homepage. The new right navigation menu includes three tiers of fly-out menus. These additional fly-out menus will make it easier to navigate through the site from one topic homepage to another.

We have taken this opportunity to create several new tools to assist visitors with finding specfiic information directly from the DHS homepage. These include:

  • A to Z at DHS (Under Quick links in the right navigation menu)
  • Get help now - Crisis services (Under Quick links in the right navigation menu)
  • "How do I...?"  (Left center popularity box)
  • Provider Tools (Left center popularity box)
  • Doing Business with DHS (Left center popularity box)

We welcome your feedback and suggestions to improve these new tools as well as the overall site. Please submit your comments to: dhs.webfeedback@state.or.us

Following is a quick reference guide to help you navigate through the new site. Numbered items on the image correspond to numbered items below the image, for a more detailed explanation of what you will find there.
